We originally started our "Home Grown" business to help make ends meet while trying to raise a family in the south.
As it was, I had some lawn equipment and loved doing yard work (it keeps you healthy). I decided to try my hand at doing it for other folks.
I have a very strong ex-military background and everything I do has to be just right, or the job is not complete.
I had plenty of experience in doing the job right the first time while in the military.
I took that out in the world with me since then.
I have to excel or it's not done to me.
Seemed people loved the work I did and was happy with the price I charged, so I decided to do it full time.
As we grew, I added my son to help me, and now, my daughter is also involved in the company.
( Boy can she really run that zero turn mower).
